Depending on the size of your house, rewires can last anywhere between 1 - 10 days. If you choose to live in the property during the rewire, our electricians will work with you to keep power available overnight and to keep mess to a minimum.
When you choose us to rewire your home, you will be sent an information pack detailing exactly how to prepare for our arrival. We will visit you the day before we arrive to finalise positions of switches, sockets, lighting and any other additions you have asked for. At the same time we will make sure you are happy with the preparation (moving furniture, safely storing breakables).
Inevitably, cables will have to be routed through walls and floors. Our electricians use high quality dust extraction systems to minimise the dust during this process. We take care to leave features of your decoration intact [for instance, decorative cornices, period roses, woodwork].
